Certificates in Gerontology available now at USABC!

Donna Wilhelm, a graduate of South Alabama who earned her certification in Gerontology, discusses the benefits of the program.  Wilhelm currently works at Mercy Medical as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing in Daphne, AL.

The University of South Alabama offers graduate and undergraduate Certificates in Gerontology. The certificate programs require 21 credit hours. An interdisciplinary minor in Gerontology is also available for 24 credit hours. Courses are offered online and in traditional classroom settings. These programs meet standards set forth by the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education (AGHE). Students should be able to complete the requirements for a certificate within an academic year. Students are encouraged to work with their advisors and the program director to plan their academic experience.
