“Celebrate Fall Photo Contest”
Rules & Regulations
This contest is open to all current University of South Alabama students, staff, and faculty.
- Photo content: Photos can be of nature, wildlife, landscapes, architecture, objects, etc., but people in the photo will not be allowed. (Photo content must be appropriate to be published, and will not contain language or images that are unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, vulgar, profane or otherwise objectionable. USABC reserves the right to reject any submission.) Photo content must be “true to life,” without the use of digital image manipulation except for cropping and zoom tools.
- Photo/Registration Submission:
- Photographs must be submitted to the USABC e-mail address: usabc@usouthal.edu. Entrants will attach a .JPEG file no larger than 4 MB.
- To register, entrants must include the following information in the e-mail with the photo attachment: Name, USA Jag I.D. number, phone number, and e-mail address.
- The submission deadline for photos is Nov. 30, 2011, at 12:00 a.m. (Photos received after the deadline will not be included in the contest.)
- Voting: Eligible photos will be placed in a photo gallery on USABC’s Facebook page: South-Alabama At Baldwin-County, and the most “likes” on this photo gallery on Facebook wins. Voting begins on December 5, 2011, and ends on December 16, 2011.
By submitting a photo:
- Entrants are certifying they made and own this photograph.
- Submission of a photo by entrant grants the University of South Alabama Baldwin County (USABC) the rights to use, reproduce, publish, display, and distribute the image in whole or in part in publications, on the Web site, or any other place USABC deems appropriate, including a public photo gallery on Facebook, for public display and public voting.
- Entrants will attach a .JPEG file no larger than 4 MB to usabc@usouthal.edu.
- Only one photo submission per person is allowed. Captions are not allowed.
- Photos must be submitted by the deadline date. No late submissions will be accepted.
- Photo credit will be given to the owner when USABC deems appropriate.
- Entrants are certifying they have read, understood, and agree with all of the rules and regulations of the contest.
